Teen Patti rankings tell you how three cards compare at a showdown. Learn the categories before considering a call or raise, and check the table’s treatment of Ace sequences and tied hands. Familiarity with the ranking order cannot predict the deal.
Comparing Hands at the Showdown
The strongest qualifying hand among the remaining players takes the pot under the applicable rules. A hand can also end when others fold. Betting decisions affect participation, while the cards themselves still involve chance.
Read the Categories from Strongest to Weakest
- Three of a Kind — Trail: All three cards share a rank. Compare the repeated rank when more than one such hand appears.
- Same-Suit Run — Pure Sequence: The cards are consecutive and all share a suit. Confirm how the table orders runs containing an Ace.
- Mixed-Suit Run — Sequence: Consecutive ranks form a run even though the cards are not all from one suit.
- Same Suit — Colour: Three cards share a suit without forming a consecutive run. Their ranks determine the comparison.
- Two Equal Ranks — Pair: Compare the pair first. If both players hold the same pair, the remaining card can decide the result under the tie rules.
- No Higher Combination — High Card: When no stronger category applies, compare the highest cards and then the remaining ranks as required.
